The following Terms & Conditions apply to all new office furniture we sell.
Prices, Corrections & Continuity
Every effort has been made to ensure that prices and product details are correct at time of going to press in our brochures and on our websites. Prices will only change in exceptional circumstances such as large unforeseen increases in raw materials. All prices are exclusive of VAT, which will be charged at the rate prevailing at the time of invoice. We reserve the right to make product changes and improvements during the life of the website.
Delivery & Installation
FREE DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION on all orders over the value of £300
before delivery - to anywhere in mainland Britain. Orders below £300
before VAT - delivery will be charged at £10 plus VAT.
As well as offering a comprehensive UK delivery service, teams of uniformed
fitters can assemble on site - if required - for all ranges shown on this
website. Each member of the team has been fully trained in the assembly
and installation of our products. They carry fully equipped tool boxes and
will, as part of the service, remove all packaging from site once installation
is completed. All packaging will be recycled.
Exceptions: Large sales and fire resistant cabinets. Free delivery is offered
to ground floor pavement level only with these heavy items - for installation
a questionnaire must be completed and a price for installation will be quoted.
Storage unit interior fittings: Storage units will be sited at point of
use with interior fittings left for customer self-installation. Full instructions
will be supplied with each fitting.
As a business to business supplier; supplying business furniture, we are
only able to make deliveries to Business address’s or Home Business
address deliveries.

Prior to delivery please ensure that the area where your new furniture is to be assembled and fitted is cleared, where applicable that the lifts are made available to our installers. Please also ensure that other work likely to interfere with the installation is completed (e.g. carpet fitting and decorating). If there is likely to be a delay please notify our Sales Office at the earliest opportunity. We reserve the right to charge for delays not notified before the delivery is dispatched.
Stock / Lead Times
Many items are held in stock for rapid delivery. These items are normally delivered within 5 - 7 working days. Non-stock item products are subject to longer lead times normally 20 - 30 working days. Your expected delivery date will be notified upon receipt of order.
Cancellation of Orders / Deliveries
Cancellation of standard stock items must be in writing. AYL reserves the right to charge an administration fee. Orders for non-stock item products (products with longer lead time than 5 – 7 working days) cannot be cancelled once the order has been accepted. A charge will be levied against any deliveries that are not accepted on the confirmed delivery / installation date.
Wood veneers & finishes
While manufacturers strive to achieve excellent colour matching, real wood veneer is a natural product and shade matching cannot be guaranteed. Exposure to natural light will alter wood colour over a period of time. Finishes illustrated within this website may be altered slightly by the printing process and or each individual computer screen and should only be used as a guide.

Where a fabric covered product is available from stock the relevant stock colour is shown on the page, for further details, fabric cards and prices of all other available fabrics please contact our Sales Office.
